What’s the room like?

Finnegan’s Pub opened in Hoboken in 2013. A back room was converted to a 50-capcity dedicated live music space in 2021. It is equipped with professional=grade equipment, operated by experienced professional sound technicians.

Is there a type of music you prefer?

Anything under the indie/alternative rock category. To be more specific, shoegaze, dreampop, emo (fourth wave in particular), pop-punk, alt-country, fuzz rock, DIY bedroom, garage, synth-pop, new wave, you get the idea.

No cover bands please.

My style of music does not match the stated preferences. Can I still submit?

Please do. I have a network of other bookers in the area who could be interested.

Can I suggest my own dates?

Hard no. I work with the Finnegan’s proprietor to lock down dates, and go from there.

I emailed you, but you haven’t responded in a while. What’s taking so long?

I have work and family obligations. This is NOT my full-time job, but a side-hustle passion of mine, so there’s limited time to devote to this.

I keep everything in a database, so there’s a good chance I listened to your music and filed you away. If I like what I hear, I’ll get back to you.
